Peter has worked in the Nova Scotia Tourism industry for almost 3 decades.

Tour Boat operator, Inn Keeper, and a Lobster Roll food truck are amoung his tourism expertise

Peter holds a 150 ton Captain's certificate, he has 22 years experience as former owner/ operatoer of Peggy's Cove Boat Tours in Peggy's Cove and Hummer Ocean Tours in Lunenburg and has made several boat deliveries to the Caribbean, Kingston,. More recently he has worked on car/passenger ferries, and tug boats.

In 2019 Peter's company Peggy's Cove Boat Tours won the Business Exellence Service Award.

Having lived in Nova Scotia for over 30 years, he is a helpful resource for local thing's to do, and any other inquiries you may have.

We have the pot for you! Enjoy your own Nova Scotian lobster boil while staying at Shorty's Place. Pot, burner, propane tank and instructions included, you just need to supply the lobster!

September 2023, Stayed a few nights. We had a great stay at Peter’s place - the back yard and patio is beautiful we spent a lot our time outdoors enjoying the sun and playing croquet. Peter was a friendly and responsive host - I would recommend this place!

August 2023 Stayed a few nights This house was very clean and so beautifully decorated. All the beds were very comfortable, even the futon! It was easy to communicate with the host and the house is nicely located just a few minutes from downtown Lunenburg. There are nice touches such as flavoured coffee and tourist information. We would stay at this house again.
